Robert W. Peck

Robert W. Peck is a former Canadian diplomat who served as Ambassador to Greece, High Commissioner to Cyprus, and Ambassador to Algeria. Mr. Peck held senior roles at Global Affairs Canada, including Chief of Protocol and Press Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and was a strong advocate for cultural diplomacy, particularly in the film and audiovisual sectors.

From 2000 to 2002, he was Director of Corporate Communications at CAE Inc. After his 35-year diplomatic career, Mr. Peck served as an Independent Director at Energean PLC and President of the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra’s board. He is an honorary director of The Hellenic Initiative Canada and serves on various boards, including the Michaëlle Jean Foundation. He has received numerous awards for his diplomatic work, including the “Grand Commander of the Order of the Phoenix” from Greece.
