A brass and wind ensemble of the Stratford Symphony Orchestra performs selections from Carl Maria von Weber’s 1821 opera Der Freishutz or ‘The Free Shooter’ and Wolfang Amadeus Mozart’s 1786 opera Le nozze di Figaro – The Marriage of Figaro.

While Der Freischutz celebrates the simple life of German huntsmen and villagers, Le nozze di Figaro, takes us into a lavish royal palace, teeming with scheming servants and intricate plot twists as servants Figara and Susanna seek to outwit their employer Count Almaviva who seeks to Susanna on her wedding night.
