Megan Follows is an award winning actress, director and producer who has worked extensively in television, film, and theatre. Most recently, she directed two feature films, currently in post production. She won the 2020 DGC award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in a Family Series for CBC’s HEARTLAND and the 2020 CSA award for best direction of a children’s or youth program on Hulu’s HOLLYHOBBIE. Her stellar performances have also earned her two Gemini Award wins and six nominations for the internationally acclaimed ANNE OF GREEN GABLES and its sequel, as well as three CSA nominations for best actress for her portrayal of Queen Catherine de’Medici in the CW Network/CBS Studios series REIGN.

Follows received the Stratford Legacy Award in 2018 and has been nominated (and won) several Dora awards for her work in the theatre. Proud member of one of Canada’s most prominent theatrical families, Megan spent her childhood watching her parents perform on stages across the continent.
